This week’s book is a little out of left field. It’s called ‘Athletes Wanted’ by Chris Krause and is about how to successfully market yourself as a brand from your early college days, through scholarships and ultimately life potential.
I found it a really interesting take on personal branding as it was so specific, practical and targeted as any good branding campaign should be. Obviously it’s written for aspiring athletes but it’s also a life lesson in how to define your brand and the values you stand for. And it prepares readers to maximize their potential in ways most other people wouldn’t even think about.
It’s a great lesson in branding from all angles and obviously a fantastic tool for young athletes. So feel free to comment in the coming week and I’ll be giving away a copy of ‘Athletes Wanted’ next week.
