This week’s giveaway book is Sally Hogshead’s newly released, Fascinate. Inside Sally does a fantastic job of articulating exactly how and why fascination works and how you can use it to your advantage.

Sally divides fascination into seven universal triggers: lust, mystique, prestige, power, vice, and trust providing an in-depth study of each. She then explores the influence these seven triggers hold over people, exposing deeply rooted patterns that explain how and why people become fascinated.

This is all good news as she explains how you can use such information to influence another’s decision making. I found it a great read for anyone interested in captivating someone else’s attention (um, that would be all of us). It’s smart and a great read.

So feel free to comment on any post in the next week and I’ll pick someone at random to receive a copy of Fascinate.

And congrats to @iconic88, last week’s winner of Shel Israel’s Twitterville – it’s already on its way to you.

  • Looks like I'm late to the party on the free copy. What was your favourite part of the book? Will you be using the principles in your future work? Just curious...
  • I actually liked her practical breakdown of how to fascinate best. I love when authors explain how principles can actually be applied. It's then that their advice is most powerful. Thanks, Steve.
