This is Part 2 of my discussion with Founder, Lawrence Chickering, and Executive Director, Safeena Husain of Educate Girls Globally.
In Part 1 we discussed the EGG model itself and the remarkable results it’s achieving. Here we look at community mobilization, the roles and responsibilities of family, parents and teachers, cost effectiveness and the wider cultural benefits of improving children’s education.
The work of EGG is another concrete example of how seemingly intractable problems can be overcome through smart thinking and action. It’s truly inspiring and demonstrates that together we can improve life for the next generation.
