Brazil is fast becoming one of the world’s leaders in sustainability and socially responsible business. From November 6-8 – 2012 I’m heading Florianopolis in Brazil to keynote the Social Good Brazil – The Seminar, that unites thought leaders, business leaders and technology leaders around new ideas and actions for positive social change. As an Australian I love the sun and water, so I’m doubly excited to be connecting with such amazing folks about such an important topic in such a fantastic place.
The event is part of a global conversation put forward by the UN Foundation and you can see a full list of their amazing initiatives here. In addition to speakers the event will feature inspiring Brazilian work by Reinaldo Pamponet (itsnoon.net), Mauro Segura (aquintaonda.blogspot.com.br) and Rodrigo Bandeira (cidadedemocratica.org.br).
From the U.S. I’ll be joined by three wonderful friends, Peter Sims (Author of “Little Bets”), Aaron Sherinian (VP of Communications & PR of the UN Foundation), and Beth Kanter (Measuring the Networked Non-Profit).
Please join us and you can see the agenda, a list of speakers, and follow the event via live stream. Plus you can join the global conversation through Facebook, Twitter and Google+. All the details are on their web site and huge thanks to the UN Foundation and Social Good Brazil for including me.
