Right now Netflix is at the center of a war for eyeballs and distribution being fought out between Netflix, Blockbuster, cable companies, studios and, well, pretty much everybody.
Just as online technology has transformed the music business and is transforming publishing, the film business is now undergoing massive change. It seems, as ever, “there can be only one!” (Ok, so I liked the Highlander films.)
